Sleepy princess

I'm asleep

Oh wait a minute, I'm a awake...
Nope definitely asleep

Guess where we went today?

I was "supposed" to be finishing up my report card comments...but instead we went to....
THE ZOO!
Storyland Valley Zoo in Edmonton
We love it there, just seems a little bit smaller and just right for our little people.
We love it so much that we got season's passes - and we got our pictures taken for them today!
Very exciting.
Blog worthy excitement :)

Super fun Sunday

In addition to the awesome Sunday that I was talking about, I got to spend an amazing Sunday with some super ladies!  I went to Calgary for a little Discovery Toys party, and an even better visit with Tracy & sweet Sadie Jae :)
I really love hanging out with the Thomson ladies - they are sooo much fun, and I just love, love, love them

I only got a chance to take a few pictures of Miss. Sadie (because she is ALWAYS on the GO!), but how beautiful is she?
I love how her eyes smile - adorable

So pretty
Love her.

Toothbrush in the potty - what?!?

Parents learn something new EVERYDAY!  There is no secret meaning behind the title of this post - it was what I said to Big Mack when I walked up the stairs tonight and took a peek at him while he was doing his "business" before bedtime!  Let me start at the beginning...we have been encouraging Mackenzie brush his own teeth - instead of doing it the "hold onto his forehead and scar him for life", kind of way.  So I walked up the stairs and watched him brush his teeth, and then dip his toothbrush into the potty - ew.  His response - "Oh no I dropped it by accident!" - yeah right.

Something new I learned today - Perhaps brushing the teeth on the potty is not the best idea :)
sigh...he is so adorable, and yet still kinda gross sometimes.

The little people have social lives!

It is becoming more and more apparent that we are going to need a larger calendar at the Schurman house :)  The older the M & M's get, the more "events" they get invited to, which is awesome!  This weekend we were lucky enough to spend our weekend surrounded by great friends and their REALLY cute kids.

Event #1 - "Super Fun Penny Carnival"
Our friend Elizabeth had an "Summer Penny Carnival" for her neice Ayva...it was AMAZING!

There was bowling, duck fishing, bean bag toss, an egg obstacle course, face painting, and balloon animals!
Very Cool.

We were so proud of Mackenzie!  He played all the games, and then went back to his favorites!
He loved the egg obstacle course, and the duck fishing...alot.

Ohhhh...I think I forgot to mention there were PRIZES too!
Big Mack liked those.
Duck pond!
Miss. Matea liked to run away and play at the park :)

Event #2 was a birthday pool party!
There are no pictures because I was at the penny carnival and then at home with Miss. Matea while she had her nap :(

Event # 3 was a super fun pot luck with the Penny Carnival crowd
No pictures we were all too busy eating the amazing food!

Super Fun Saturday!

Blogger - BLAH!

No pictures for right now, i am playing with Blogger and wishing that I was WAAAY more technology saavy, and just good at picking out colors and stuff.  Rightnow the only part of the Schurman Shenanigans that i am in love with is my new header thingy - I like it.

Hopefully there will be some pics tonight - we'll see ;)

Please forgive my "quote-i-ness" and a few new M &M Pages

My name is Jessica and I love quotes :)  Ask my sister, I am pretty sure it drives her bananas.  ANYWAY, I sometimes really like to include quotes in my digital scrapbooking (although I will admit that I have been trying to tone it down in my 2010 pages).

I came across this one on a blog (http://elegantwordart2.blogspot.com/) that I go to ALL the time because she has AWESOME wordart, and she posts ALOT of them as FREEBIES! ANYWAY, I just really liked this quote, I think Susan Sarandon says some pretty smart stuff sometimes ~ and wanted to share :)
