At Mack's school, each grade hosts the monthly assembly, and December was the Grade Ones Turn!!
And the theme of the assembly?
CHRISTMAS!
Each student was assigned a costume to wear.
Elves, snowmen, Santa's, stars, and THE most important (in our very biased opinion)
CHRISTMAS TREES!!!!
Complete with battery operated lights, ornaments, and a star.
We totally recognize that it is a "little over the top" or as one super "sweet" mom said to me when I went check on my little guy and make sure he was all costumed up....
"somebody sure has lot of time on their hands".....
Bob and I talked about it before HE grabbed his glue gun (oh yes that is a Bob Schurman ORIGINAL) and we think we really only have a couple more years where he will LET us/WANT us to celebrate these moments with him :)
So go big or go home, right?
