Shortly after Christmas on a chilly Saturday, our sweet Baby A turned 1!

He started out as our smallest little 

9lbs 8 oz 

 And at his 1 year healthy baby check up....

95th percentile

28 lbs 14 oz

We think he is pretty special

HE thinks EVERYTHING he does is HILARIOUS!

Our 2013

2013, for us was a great year....

We added another member (last one, I promise!) to our family.

Miss. Matea started Pre-K in 2013, and we are starting to understand the puzzle that is our sweet girl more and more each day.

Big Mack really grew up this year, and we quite like the little guy he is becoming.

And Bob and I learned to juggle, because we officially became OUTNUMBERED!!!

and so we juggle....

I am saying goodbye to full time teaching for a little while, and settling in at home for a bit.  It is tough to lose that part of my identity (it's really hard for me!), but there are some things here in our family that need my full attention.  It is an opportunity that I am so thankful for, and quite honestly, after being away from education for Asher's first year....I miss it, but it will always be there.  

I can pour my heart and soul into a classroom but I found out this year, someone else can step in, and poof....you are gone (this was also really hard for me, it still is).  

I need to pour my heart and soul into our middle little (and the boys too), I will never get the chance to stay home in 2014 and hang out with my 7, 5, and 1 year old again....that will NOT always be there.

AND I have discovered that I quite like going into  Pre-K & Grade one classes to volunteer, it's pretty fun when you aren't the one in charge of everything!
