Mother's Day Zoo Fun!

For Mother's Day 2014 we decided to spend the day at the Zoo in Edmonton with Grandma, Grandpa & Auntie Sue :)
Super fun memories were made!!!!
Asher all strapped in and ready for the trek to Edmonton!
Ugh!  Standing in line for the train....Matea's kryptonite!
She always manages to get her favorite spot though....that girl ♥'s the caboose
 Daddy is soooo lucky!
Grandpa took Asher to the petting zoo while the M & M's were on the train.  It was like heaven, I only had to be responsible for myself!
And Grandpa and Asher saw the other half of the Schurman's as they went on by in the train :)
I think it was kinda neat for Asher :)
Mack taking it all in :)
 Pretty pumped about the zoo!
*He WAS NOT super pumped when he wandered away from his Dad, and got lost....we just happened to find him wandering towards us (crying)...thankfully everything worked out, good lesson learned for him though*
My favorite one year old snacker on a little snack break with the fam jam!

Okay well I am not too sure what this new part of the zoo is all about?  Right now it is basically alot of jagged rocks for kids to climb and slide on?  It's really fun, but also screams "massive head injury" to me....oh yeah and there are places where they are planning on adding water.
super fun...and probably dangerous :)

 So fun...
 EEEK!
Bob and all the other little climbers
and one other Daddy that was pretty pumped about life :)

 Beaver dam looking thingy
 fave slide at the park
she liked watching the sea lions swim by...ALOT

 Hey!  Nice double stroller lady!
 Happy Mother's Day 2014!

Long over due.....EASTER POST

Easter was SUCH a good time this year.  Mack was so excited to go on an egg hunt, Matea's Pre-K class had done an egg hunt at school so she was totally "into it" too, and Asher could not believe that we were actually letting him eat chocolate chips (the M & M's are not the biggest fans of Easter chocolate, they prefer the little egg hunt eggs are filled up with chocolate chips and marshmallows) before breakfast!  Plus he liked putting the eggs in the basket.
Miss. Matea getting her Easter basket ready, and of course she HAD to bring along her stuffed little bunny that Nana and Bampi got her the day before.
 Here we go......
 happy girl ♥
Baby A trying to catch up!

This was a pretty sneaky Easter bunny
The Easter bunny even left clues for Mack....he was pretty pumped (thanks Aunt Jen for the idea!)

 clues in the sock drawer!
 I think he found the....
 giant Easter egg!
 Happy Easter 2014
