A Life For Lexx

Last month I had the chance to go to the SECOND ANNUAL "A Life For Lexx" Fundraiser...Bob-a-licious there too, and so were our friends Rick & Hedwig - fun night!  

ANYWAY I was asked to take some photo's of the evening, and I did my best, but to be honest I was being a BAD PHOTOGRAPHER and enjoying myself too much (silent auction items, poker tournament, roulette) but I did get a few pictures that I liked.....

The "Bromlette/Clevling" loot!

Well...The Nana & The Bampi went up to the "Great White North" to have a little visit with the cousins...and they came back with LOTS of LOOT from the Bromling/Clevette Clan..I'm not gonna lie, my sister buys GREAT presents!!

Ohhh, and if you can't tell from the fridge, we like basketball (see arrow) and apparently my kids like to "steal" Lindsay Thurber magnets (see other arrow) from The Bampi's school whenever they go visit him at the high school - it is embarassing but that isn't even HALF the collection :)

Super Fun Day in Calgary....

So with me working more lately, we decided to pack up the M & M's and go visit our good friends The Thomson's in Calgary, we searched out some play places, and decided on one to go and visit....Big Mack, Miss. Matea, and sweet Sadie Jae had a BLAST....and this Mommy and Sadie's Mommy had a pretty fun time chasing each other up and down the big slides :) - thank goodness there are no pictures of THAT!

Happy Birthday Mackenzie James....

I made Matea a little movie of some of my fave pictures of her when she turned one last year, and I thought I would do the same thing for Big Mack Attack -- hope you got a few minutes :)

Rocking the soccer World!

Well I am happy to report that Big Mack is starting to get back into the swing of things after our horrendous experience with one of the playschools in town...It has been over a month of him being scared/unhappy whenever we went somewhere new or to one of his "programs" - it has been an eye opener to see how truly sensitive our little man is....ANYWAY back to the good news!  Mack started playing soccer this year - woot, woot!  The first day was a little overwhelming , but since then he has been having a super fun time!

I saw "little" because he is one of the youngest but he looks like the oldest, which makes it a little bit awkward when he pretends to go to sleep in "the tent" - aka - the net everyone is trying to score on!

 The best part of soccer?  Bob-a-licious is the coach :)

The Schurman boys are taking over the soccer world....if we could just get Mack to stop laying down in the middle of the soccer pitch :)
