2nd Annual M & M Super Fun Summer Party

Starting last year we decided to have a "summer party" in July.  We did this because both the M & M's have CrAzY birthday's (Halloween, and exactly 7 days before Christmas) around REALLY busy times of year, AND because we wanted an opportunity to see all our friends and family before the summer started getting super busy for everyone :)

I think this years party was a smashing success, my kids had fun, and I got to chat with lots of friends :)  You can be the judge....

Here is our "line-up"

 now if you remember last summer my BFF Barb and I took our boys on a "boys only" adventure day to Edmonton, while we were there our "adventure" took us to the Latin Festival downtown where they had a giant slide...and the boys ♥-ed it!  I vowed then and there to try and get one for the summer party :)

But he got waaaay better...

Summer 2012...preview

Wow-wee-wow-wow...have the M & M's EVER had a great start to their summer!  I thought I would do a little "mini post" so that all of you could take a peek at what we have been up to the last few weeks, and then wait in anticipation for the more detailed posts to come rolling out ;)

So let's see....

The GP cousins came for a visit, we had our M & M summer party, we got to hang out with all our friends that we don't see nearly enough, our Atlanta cousins came for a visit, we all went to the beach together, we visited Calaway Park, and we celebrated the sunshine and beautiful weather with daily water fights, and sprinkler fun!

Happy Canada Day!

We went down to Bower Ponds today for some Canada Day festivities, it was very fun!  One of the best parts....we rode the bus this year!!!!!  Usually we lug around a wagon, and a WHOLE bunch of "stuff"...this year we just loaded up a backpack and hopped on the bus!  The only "casualty" of the day...my camera bag...there just wasn't room :(

So you have to suffer through some crappy iphone pictures...I know, I'm sad too.
