As promised....Boys Day post!
Last week my friend Barb and I left our girls at home, and took the boys for a little day trip to Edmonton! I never get the chance to just hang out with Big Mack for a whole day, not since our tiny blonde tornado arrived two years ago :)
And it was a great day. Get ready for another picture-pa-looza!
Everybody strapped in...they were both so pumped to be sitting beside each other...and not their sisters!
First stop: Alberta Museum...I remember going there when I was little, and it is great for kids! There is nothing that they can wreck, and lots of room to explore...and it was pretty quiet, us and two or three other families! Shhh, don't spread that around though
Rocks and Gems
The treasure room!
Dino room
Wow! That's huge!
The bug exhibit!

First Nations section
The scene was that demise of a buffalo, Aidan was very concerned :(
Look at those two "animals" going into the Wild Alberta area
Beavers
Wolves
Finding animals with the flashlight...this is their version of "sharing"
I thought this was gross...dead animal, things eating it - ew...
Mack thought it was awesome.
Pretty cool
Having lunch at the park--cool dude Aidan
Ugh...laying in the sand!
Latin Festival!
This was a gold mine! We went downtown to go for a little swim in the fountain and stumbled across the Latin Festival (Mack liked the music) and they boys both LOVED the fountain AND the big SLIDE (unlimited sliding for $7!)
I am totally loving this double slide--possibility for the second annual M&M Summer Party? Maybe....
Swimming in the fountain downtown!
iphone photo's of the museum!
I think we are going to make this an annual memory maker!
